About this blog

Here on these pages, you will find my observations about Boy Scouts, both in situations I’ve encountered and topics I’ve discussed with others. I’ll also include topics from Roundtable sessions and breakouts that I’ve conducted and classes I’ve developed for University of Scouting. My emphasis is on the Troop Committee, but articles will cover a variety of topics in both Boy Scouting and Cub Scouting and are of interest to all adult Scouters.

I welcome your comments on my articles, general questions, and suggestions for future topics.  Please feel free to leave a comment on any post.  You can also e-mail me directly using the form on the Contact page.

Of course, Bobwhite’s Blather is not an official publication of, nor is it endorsed by, the Boy Scouts of America.
